the family usually go out for dinner on saturdays seeing that it's the father's regular off day and all. but that particular saturday.. i just had a thought of staying home instead of going out since we're always dining out! thought we could do with a nice japanese dinner since the mother knows how to cook the udon and/or cold noodles, while we could takeaway the sushi and sashimi from the supermarket or something.. suggested it to the parents and they couldn't be more happy to comply to the request.
but somehow, it turned out to be a mini-party after all. complete with the presence of kids, both the grandmas and a big fat birthday cake with candles. khe. going off track for a minute.. i secretly teared a teeny bit, wishing so much the late grandpa was around. he would have laughed along at the kids' antics and probably go down to the supermarket downstairs to get a whole sweet treats for them. :'( so anyways! the whole day was weirdly tiring, but turned out alright after all.. enjoy the pics!
